Kingdom Leadership Iron Group
About
Welcome to the group! We are building up minds, bodies, and souls to become and live the best version of ourselves. Members of this group will be called students because we all are students of the Kingdom. Learning, receiving, and teaching don't stop! Our mission is to disciple. Our missions are different, but our journey is the same. We will pour into each other and build up those we serve. Transformation is the goal! This group will read one book per quarter (4 books a year), and join the YouVersion Bible app (send a friend request to Kingdom Leadership Connections).
Here is the plan for the book club. We will meet every two weeks on Wednesdays, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. On the weeks we cannot make the session on Wednesday we will plan a secondary day for that Friday same time.
The meeting link below will be used for all consecutive book club sessions. Save this link:

See below some book club tips:
1. Dedicate time to read, and figure out what time of the day works best for you. For myself, first thing in the morning works best then I work out.
2. Write down anything that stands out to you and take the time to think about your thoughts. A line or paragraph will catch your attention based on where you are in your own journey. Capture that and figure out a way to implement your thoughts in your life.
3. Maintain a journal of your thoughts and reflections. Throughout the year you want to go back and read your notes over and over. The goal is to build new habits. This takes time depending on how many bad habits you may have picked up on your journey of life. We build new habits by repeating actions over and over. Bad habits are created this way as well!! Your habits control your outcomes. For example, bad eating habits will not give you the health you desire.
4. Each week plan to read at least two chapters. At the end of each week, log in and discuss the questions about what was read on the book club forum. You will see the forum under the 2 Steps Book Club tab. Respect each other's perspective and build each other up. Remember we are not in the business of tearing others down! That is not the goal! Individual achievement works best in support of collective action.
5. Most of all have fun and enjoy the book! Don't look at reading as a chore but as a crucial part of your growth journey. You want to look forward to each page. Your approach to reading will determine your outcome of understanding.
